Kindle Social Network

I have been a Kindle owner for some months now and I knew for awhile that social features existed on the Kindle but all of a sudden Amazon has decided to spring up a Kindle Social Network so you can:

  • Review and remember more of what you read.
  • Follow people of interest to you to see their Public Notes.
  • Manage your books, highlights, and notes.

It seems every player on the web is trying to get a slice of the social pie so to speak and now Amazon has got its own little slice of heaven or perhaps even hell? Amazon’s Kindle store has notably been full of spammy items for sale in the past and I think personally they still do a poor job of moderating those titles out and need to put more effort into their store.
