I wish there was a survey of TechCrunch readers as of current to find out how they feel about the future and how they feel the AOL acquisition has changed TechCrunch. I personally reduced my reading shortly after the acquisition and also reduced my comments when they moved to Facebook Comments and with the recent TechCrunch Meltdown I don’t such much reason to continue reading at all.
Maybe Arianna Huffington will come down from her ivory tower in New York and set things straight or apologize to the loyal readers (unlikely).
I guess this is the final chapter of TechCrunch as we knew it…. Thanks to Erick Schonfeld for ending it on a classy note.
I don’t follow TechCrunch nearly as much as I used to and I don’t care for the Facebook commenting system either, though Disqus and Livefyre are fine. I pretty much rely on news.google.com technology category to keep up on current stuff and have no single source anymore for tech info.
