I approach new firmware and software with a bit of caution because I know that regardless of how much beta testing occurs there will always be bugs in a initial public release. As such I do not feel it is intelligent to upgrade a smartphone the day of a new release because in this day and age phones have data caps and if some weird loop bug or other defect occurred it could result in the consumer paying a significant cost.
Anyways, I think I will likely wait a week or maybe just a day until I hear from the masses what the initial bugs are.
Will you be upgrading your iPhone to iOS 5?
