+1′s = Ubuntu Membership
After the RMB meeting commenced I was informed that due to the amount of people applying for membership it was possible they may not get to me this time which kind of sunk my spirit since finding time to sit on IRC for a hour or more straight is often difficult to find in my schedule. Anyways the pace of the board voting was efficient enough that I got my application heard and I got to see some excellent contributors get membership after plenty of sustained contribution.
Oddly enough I was not asked for a introduction or asked any questions so it appears my endorsements or contributions spoke enough on their own. Anyways I’m really happy that members of the Ubuntu Oregon LoCo were able to attend because now I can push them to make sustained contributions so they can eventually apply at the right time.
I would like to congratulate everyone who became a member today and I look forward to doubling down on my contributions to the Ubuntu community.
