11.10 Release Party… That’s a wrap!
This past Saturday Ubuntu Oregon held its 11.10 Release Party at Backspace in Downtown Portland and the turnout was really good with two Canonical employees in attendance and Ubuntu Users from Yahoo and Linbit plus a handful of local Oregon students who use Ubuntu and participate in the Ubuntu Oregon LoCo.
We spent close to two hours at Backspace socializing and discussing Ubuntu and other Technology topics and after the Release Party some of us split off and went to Ground Kontrol for a cocktail, food and games. All in all I feel the LoCo is continuing to grow and there was approximately 18 people at the Release Party which means our event attendance is also growing.
