As we near the Ubuntu Documentation freeze I wanted to highlight a piece of work that the Documentation team could use help with. In past releases we have used a bash script to collect fresh screenshots to ship with Ubuntu Documentation.
The script we use has been broken for a couple releases now because of changes in packages in Ubuntu and what appears to be changes in Unity.
Most of us on the team do not have the time currently to dive into this bash script and make it work but were hoping someone in the community can commit the time to getting this script working again.
The script can be found here, and if you patch it e-mail the Ubuntu Documentation Team mailing list to let us know. If you are interested in contributing to Ubuntu Documentation more regularly please feel free to mail the list and introduce yourself or see us on #ubuntu-doc on Freenode.
