This is my first transatlantic trip ever and perhaps my longest flight so far, so I’m both excited and honestly a bit anxious since I generally do not love flying. But I am even more happy to be able to go and sync up with other leaders from the Mozilla Community and most notably we will be spending a day with Mitchell Baker , Mark Surman and Mary Ellen.
This will also be my first ReMo Camp so I’m not entirely sure what to expect but I will be in good company with fellow contributors who I have done meetups with before and engage with often so it will be great to see familiar and friendly faces. I always say meeting up with Mozillians is like meeting up with family because we are really so tight knit.
On the first day I will hope to spend most of it gallivanting around Berlin and its suburbs visiting a huge list of tourist spots I want to visit to take photos. Of course I will also take the opportunity to meet up with some Wikipedians, Ubuntu Users and others who I made arrangements with to meet in advance of the trip.
Stay tuned for photos! 🙂
